Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Union is a public organization that supports and promotes the development of psychoanalysts while creating a space for professional growth.
We consciously build a format in which not only the voices of experienced professionals are heard, but where young specialists also have a real opportunity to present themselves, share ideas, and contribute to contemporary psychoanalysis.
Each conference is a space where meanings are born, professional identity is shaped, and support is found within the community.
🔹 We are now accepting applications from:
— participants who wish to join discussions and exchange experiences
— speakers ready to share their research, clinical practice, or reflections
🔹 Presentation requirements:
• presentation length — 15 minutes (for early-career specialists) / 25 minutes (for experienced professionals)
• an additional 5 minutes will be allocated for questions and discussion
🔹 Conference topics include:
• inner strength and its sources
• a psychoanalytic perspective on crisis and recovery
• the desire to live in conditions of uncertainty
• working with trauma and resilience
📩 Speaker applications should include: full name, education, organizational memberships, presentation topic, abstract (up to 10 sentences), phone number, email address, and a photo for the conference announcement poster. 🔥 Participation for speakers is free of charge. As an additional bonus, speakers may also attend the conference as listeners.

📅 Dates: September 12–13, 2026
👌 Each participant will receive access to the conference recordings for 3 months.
📌 Important: the conference program will be published one month before the event on the website upu.com.ua.
👌 Participation fees for listeners and discussion participants:
Until 15.08.2026 — 2000 UAH (1500 UAH for UPU members and combat veterans);
From 15.08.2026 to 29.08.2026 — 2500 UAH (2000 UAH for UPU members and combat veterans);
After 29.08.2026 — 3000 UAH (2500 UAH for UPU members and combat veterans).
