Announcement

Alexander Filts' Author Seminar: “A Universal Classification System for Psychiatric Syndromes: ‘O. Filts’ Pentagram'”

Would you like to work with greater confidence? We invite you to explore Alexander Filts’s unique, proprietary system, which will help you navigate complex clinical cases.
Oleksandr Orestovych Filts is a professor of psychiatry and psychotherapy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, current president of the European College of Psychotherapy (ECPP), president of the Ukrainian Psychotherapy Society (UPS), rector of the private university “Anbrooken,” and a supervisor.

The seminar is designed for psychoanalysts, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists; it provides an opportunity to explore the entire spectrum of major psychiatric disorders within their holistic, systemic interrelationships.

This system significantly facilitates orientation in the initial diagnosis of the entire spectrum of psychiatric disorders and serves as the primary tool for a thorough understanding of these disorders when working with patients or clients.

Consequently, this simplifies and enhances the effectiveness of interaction and collaboration between clinical psychologists and psychotherapists and their psychiatrist colleagues when providing services to specific clients/patients.

The timely distinction between psychiatric and psychotherapeutic competencies is one of the mandatory professional requirements under current legislation in Ukraine and worldwide.

🔥This model concisely and conveniently captures the entire spectrum of psychiatric syndromes in a way not provided for by any existing classification approaches!

✨ Seminar Outline:

All syndromes will be presented in order of increasing hierarchical complexity, starting with neurotic (hysteria, OCD) and stress-related (reactive) mental disorders, through affective and psychotic syndromes, and ending with syndromes involving organic brain damage.

The main groups of “intermediate” (falling between the aforementioned groups) syndromes will also be described, and the place and role of personality disorders will be addressed.
