Structure and Governing Bodies
The organization’s structure consists of a president and a board of directors.
The Board of Directors includes the chairs of all committees except the Certification Committee.
The Ukrainian Union has the following committees: the Education Committee, the Science and Development Committee, the Ethics Committee, the Certification Committee, the Clinical Practice Development Committee, the Documentation Committee, the Oversight Committee, and the UPU World Committee.
Governing Bodies
In accordance with the charter of the Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Union, the following governing bodies operate within the organization:
- Conference;
- Board of Directors;
- President.
The Conference is the highest governing body and is convened by the Board at least once a year. The Conference has legal validity only if at least half of all members of the organization are present.
Decisions of the Conference are adopted by a simple majority of the members present. The Conference also approves the composition of the Board. Between Conferences, the Board manages the organization’s activities and serves as its key governing body.
The head of the Board is the President, who is elected by the Board every five years.
